pchtemp
— Intel
platform controller hub temperature sensor driver
/dev/sensors/temperature/pch/*
The pchtemp
driver provides the system the
ability to read the digital temperature sensor found on several Intel
platform controller hub (PCH) chipsets. The following chipsets are supported
which cover most Intel Core family (non-Atom) CPUs starting with the Haswell
generation:
Temperature information is available to the system
via the fault management architecture (FMA). The file system location and
programming interface to the pchtemp
driver are
considered
Volatile,
subject to change without notice, and should not be used directly. Raw
temperature information can be dumped through the FMA developer utility
fmtopo.
