— convert a
fault, signal, system call and data model to a name
Process Control Library (libproc, -lproc)
#include
<libproc.h>
char *
proc_fltname
(int flt,
char *buf, size_t bufsz);
char *
proc_signame
(int sig,
char *buf, size_t bufsz);
char *
proc_sysname
(int sys,
char *buf, size_t bufsz);
char *
proc_dmodelname
(int dmodel,
char *buf, size_t bufsz);
The
proc_fltname
(),
proc_signame
(),
proc_sysname
()
and
proc_dmodelname
()
functions respectively convert the fault, signal, system call and data model
in flt, sig,
sys and dmodel to a
human-readable name and place the corresponding string in
buf. Up to bufsz characters,
including the null terminator, will be written into
buf.
Upon successful completion, the
proc_fltname
(),
proc_signame
(),
proc_sysname
() and
proc_dmodelname
() functions return a pointer to
buf. The contents of buf are
always null terminated. Otherwise, NULL
is
returned.
