PLMID(3PROC) Process Control Library Functions PLMID(3PROC)

Plmidget the link-map identifier of an address

Process Control Library (libproc, -lproc)

#include <libproc.h>

Plmid(struct ps_prochandle *P, uintptr_t addr, Lmid_t *lmidp);

The () function attempts to determine the link-map identifier that corresponds to the address addr in the process P. If addr does not correspond to an address from an object mapped in by the run-time link editor, such as anonymous mapping created with mmap(2), then there will be no corresponding link-map identifier.

lmidp must be a non-NULL pointer that will be filled in with the link-map identifier when it is successfully determined by the run-time link-editor.

Upon successful completion, the Plmid() function returns and updates lmidp with the link-map identifier of addr. Otherwise, is returned to indicate that the link-map identifier could not be determined.

See in libproc(3LIB).
